Production Manager required due to continued growth in a reputable and successful manufacturer. The successful candidate will be joining a company seeing 20% yearly growth over the last five years and are investing heavily in the business. The company are moving into new markets and this is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to play an integral role in the growth.
Candidates need to be an experienced production/manufacturing manager in food. You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of implementing process improvements and have a strong knowledge of food safety regulations.
The successful Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day production operations on site, from planning, managing quality control and food safety, and implementing continuous improvements.
The Production Manager Role:
· Overseeing and leading a team of 35 in production
· Working within a meat processing facility
· Driving performance and production targets
· Oversee purchasing of raw materials and managing costs
· H&S, food safety and HACCP compliance
· Production scheduling and resource allocation
· Continuous improvements
The Production Manager Candidate:
· Management or senior supervisory experience
· Experience in food production
· Knowledge of food safety regulations
· Can demonstrate experience with implementing improvements
