Gleeson are partnering with a business in Burton on Trent that are looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team.

This role is perfect for either a PQ or Qualified finance candidate that are looking to join a business that can offer both progression and development.

This is a high-exposure role where you'll work closely with the CFO, COO, and Financial Controller, and directly partner with senior non-finance stakeholders across HR, IT, Marketing, and Property.

Salary: 50,000 - 55,000

Hybrid working: 2 days on site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage c.100m of costs
  • Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders including HRD, ITD, and Marketing Directors
  • Challenge and support stakeholders in setting and managing budgets
  • Prepare and present insightful financial packs to the CFO, COO, and senior leadership
  • Help drive accountability across departments and prevent cost creep
  • Contribute to long-term strategic investment planning
  • Interpret financial results, identify risks/opportunities, and communicate recommendations
  • Collaborate closely with the FP&A team and Strategic Finance Business Partners

The ideal candidate:

  • Qualified or part-qualified (CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Strong communicator with a track record of working with non-finance stakeholders
  • Comfortable creating and delivering financial presentations to senior audiences
  • Solid grounding in management accounting, accruals, and forecasting
  • Commercial mindset with experience helping shape budgets and drive cost control
  • Evidence of value-add financial insights and business partnering
