Job Title: Sheet Metal Worker

Holidays and Benefits: Death in Service Benefit - 2 x annual salary, Internal and External training and development/courses, Pension employer pays up to 5%, 5.6 weeks of annual leave per year inc. bank holidays, increasing to 6.6 weeks inc. bank holidays following 1 year service.

Overview:

Working within first class manufacturing facilities we now require a Sheet Metal Worker to join the day shift. You will be working for a well established precision engineering business that have sites across the UK.

Key responsibilities of the Sheet Metal Worker role:

Includes bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly, deburr, stretching and inspecting all to tight tolerances

Working to drawings, sketches and verbal instructions.

Setting and operating machinery supplied for the manufacture of sheet metal components.

The ideal candidate / Sheet Metal Worker may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

  • Time Served Apprenticeship
  • Previous experience working with thin gauge sheet metal
  • Previous experience bending, cutting, pressing, riveting, marking out, measuring, assembly, deburr, stretching metals.

Derby, Burton Upon Trent, Nottingham, Long Eaton, Sandiacre, Ilkeston and surrounding areas.
