A school in Burton Upon Stather, North Lincolnshire require a teaching assistant to work 1:1 with a young boy who is six years old. The pupil has a particular interest in forest school and outdoor learning so the school are ideally looking for individuals with experience in delivering forest school activities. The pupil has additional needs where the primary need is social emotional and mental health, so at times , can display disregulated behaviour. Because of these we are particularly interested in candidates who are experienced with Team Teach, although this is not essential.
This is a permenant role, subject to a twelve week probation through Milk education and the working hours are Monday to Friday - 08:30 - 15:30. We are ideally looking for a candidate with availability to start in the next fortnight There are future plans to develope an operational forest school in the area so there is scope for this role to migrate into the forest school as it opens at a later date.
