Our client is a trusted, client-focused regional accountancy firm known for combining deep expertise with a personalised approach to help businesses and organisations achieve their goals. As an Accounts Senior you'll be responsible for high-quality accounts and tax compliance, including technical research and challenging complex issues due to the nature of our larger clients

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Prepare and review corporate accounts and corporation tax returns, mainly for larger clients using CCH software.
  • Conduct technical research and provide challenge on complex accounting and tax issues.
  • Supervise and support junior staff, reviewing their work and providing coaching.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Companies House filings and statutory requirements.
  • Contribute to the smooth transition from Caseware to CCH software within the team.

About you:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified (or near qualified) with strong corporate accounts and tax experience.
  • Comfortable working predominantly with CCH software; experience with Caseware is a plus.
  • Strong technical ability with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving.
  • A proactive, hands-on team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience supervising junior staff and supporting their development.
