My Client are a  leading Contractor in Suffolk, specialising in civil engineering, groundworks and infrastructure works, They work alongside a host of house-builders and support a variety of other industries throughout East Anglia and the South East of England.

They are seeking an Office Administrator to join their team in Bury St Edmunds.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of their office by delivering comprehensive administrative support.

Administrator – Leading Civils & Groundworks Contractor

Duties

  • Oversee daily office operations, handling clerical tasks and data entry to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Keep filing systems updated and ensure all documents are current.
  • Track training records, arrange courses, and ensure qualifications remain valid.
  • Manage the maintenance and repair of company vehicles and equipment.
  • Assist management with various tasks, promoting a collaborative work environment

Experience:

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar office administrators role.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage tasks effectively.
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills.
  • Proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Capable of working independently and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Experience in the Construction Industry is advantageous but not essential
