Grounds Operations SupervisorLocation: Bury St Edmunds area Position: Grounds Contracts Manager Salary: £28,500 per year

Requirements:Must be able to drive (vehicle provided) Direct line management experience of multiple grounds maintenance operatives across designated area

Role Overview: We are looking for a dedicated Grounds Operations Supervisor to oversee and support our grounds maintenance teams across the Bury St Edmunds area. The ideal candidate will ensure that all grounds works are completed to uphold high standards and that teams have safe working equipment, PPE, and all required checks are completed and recorded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct line management of multiple grounds maintenance operatives, supporting teams in ensuring grounds works are completed to high standards
  • Ensure all teams have safe working equipment, PPE, and all required checks are completed and recorded
  • Complete all time & attendance records for your team, ensuring absence recording & welfare support is completed and updated
  • Maintain and report on fleet vehicle services such as repairs, servicing, and MOT, repairs for equipment, such as ride-on mowers, tractors, and handheld equipment
  • Regular client engagement such as site audits, schedule of works reviews, and addressing site queries
