Section Engineer - Energy Infrastructure

Salary: 拢45,000 - 拢52,000

We're seeking an experienced Section Engineer to join a fast-growing contractor on a high-profile energy project in Norwich. The Role
As a Section Engineer, you will be responsible for managing a section of civils works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. You will play a key role in coordinating with site teams, mentoring junior engineers, and ensuring compliance with technical and safety requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
路Setting out all types of civils works accurately and efficiently
路Producing and implementing Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) from drawings and specifications
路Ensuring quality management on your section, including oversight of temporary works
路Supporting procurement schedules, take-offs, and materials planning
路Collaborating closely with the Site Agent to ensure works are properly planned and resourced
路Mentoring and supporting other engineers within the team
路Ensuring all temporary works are designed and implemented safely
About You
We're looking for engineers who combine technical expertise with strong organisational and communication skills.
Essential:
路Competent in setting out all civils works
路Able to create and implement ITPs from drawings and specifications
路Experience with procurement schedules and take-offs
路Relevant CSCS card
Desirable:
路Temporary Works Coordinator experience
路SMSTS/SSSTS certified
路HSG47 Service Avoidance (Cat/Genny)
