An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing manufacturing business in Bury St Edmunds. We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly and inspection of in-house manufactured equipment. This hands-on role will contribute to production efficiency and high-quality standards across the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Connect wiring harnesses, perform small connector crimping and soldering
- Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components, including small tubing and fittings
- Support improvements to product assembly through new methods and techniques
- Assist production technicians with fault-finding
- Report slow processes and quality concerns to line management
- Manage workload to meet production targets
Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assemblies
- Experience in fault-finding and troubleshooting electro-mechanical assemblies
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Good technical understanding of materials
- Practical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
