An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing manufacturing business in Bury St Edmunds. We are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly and inspection of in-house manufactured equipment. This hands-on role will contribute to production efficiency and high-quality standards across the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect wiring harnesses, perform small connector crimping and soldering
  • Assemble mechanical and electro-mechanical components, including small tubing and fittings
  • Support improvements to product assembly through new methods and techniques
  • Assist production technicians with fault-finding
  • Report slow processes and quality concerns to line management
  • Manage workload to meet production targets

Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Experience in fault-finding and troubleshooting electro-mechanical assemblies
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Good technical understanding of materials
