An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Administrator to join a growing and friendly financial planning firm based in Bury St Edmunds.The successful candidate will play a key part in supporting primarily, the firm principal and subsequently financial advisers, managing client reviews, preparing meeting documentation, and ensuring smooth post-meeting processes. It’s a varied and rewarding role, offering scope for progression and professional development.Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise and schedule client reviews.
  • Ongoing administration of existing arrangements - pensions, investments and trusts.
  • Prepare pre-meeting documents including portfolio valuations and compliance checks.
  • Gathering information, dealing with and directing enquiries as appropriate.
  • Organisation of client information
  • Draft and produce client reports following meetings.
  • Process fund switches and implement adviser recommendations.
  • Deliver general administrative and client servicing support.
  • Liaise with 3rd party platform providers and pension providers.
  • General office tasks and organisation of the office.

What they are seeking:

  • Experience within the financial services or commercial sectors as an administrator.
  • Proactive, organised and efficient with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Set own goals and want to deliver agreed targets.
  • Tactful, trustworthy, diplomatic and able to maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Comfortable working on their own and as part of a team, setting and maintaining personal goals, directing workflow and managing often conflicting deadlines.
  • Fully competent in desktop applications (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Awareness of the regulatory framework and its application to a Financial Planning firm.
