Your new companyWe have some exciting new job opportunities for a large manufacturer based near Ipswich for operators to work across a complex plant, supporting the site engineers with maintenance and daily plant operations.Your new roleYou will have experience in production and tasks associated with heavy industry plant operations and be able to complete first-level fault-finding on production machinery.You will monitor and maintain quality standards and ensure that safe working practices are implemented. You will ensure the plant is running efficiently to achieve efficient use of resources. You will record data transfer required for OEE, SAP and other production records. You will ensure the plant is kept clean and tidy and adopt good 5S working practices and, where required, carry out routine plant maintenance.What you'll need to succeedYou will have previous experience in a production/manufacturing environment, you will be a team player, with a can-do attitude and be self-motivated. Ideally, with some mechanical knowledge for first line fault-finding, good IT skills to utilise site data systems.What you'll get in returnThis is a full-time role, 42hrs per week (Salary is based on 12hr continental shift pattern). Current working hours: Mon - Fri on 8hr rotating shifts, Days (06:00-14:00) Lates (14:00 - 22:00) Nights 22:00 - 06:00.
