HGV Class 1 Driver

We are on the hunt for an experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to start immediately for one of our well-known clients based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk.

This is a Temp to Perm position. 

SHIFTS

Tramping Monday to Friday

Start times will be around 04:00 am daily

PAYE payment only

PAYE Rate: £14.00 per hour
Night Out: £25.00 per night

50 hours a week guaranteed (average 56)

- General haulage work using curtain sider trailers

- Occasional shunt work to Felixstowe

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Minimum of 2 years HGV 1 driving experience (general haulage preferred)

• Full UK Driving Licence with C+E category, CPC Qualification Card, Tachograph Card

• Ability to safely operate HGV 1 vehicles across UK routes

• Intermediate level of English (spoken and written)

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects

• Provide excellent customer service on all assignments

• Flexibility with start times and night outs
