We are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join a well-established and busy site on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, accuracy, and a proactive attitude to support vital site operations.

Please note: Due to the rural location, a full UK driving licence and your own transport are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately weigh and record all incoming and outgoing vehicles.
  • Maintain vehicle movement records using CRM systems and manual logs.
  • Issue and collect load documentation efficiently.
  • Coordinate on-site traffic and manage vehicle flow.
  • Assist with stock checks and reporting.
  • Conduct quality control checks on all goods entering and exiting the site.

About You:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  • Comfortable working in a busy, outdoor environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Confident using IT systems (training provided).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A team player with a can-do, flexible approach.
