Reed is excited to announce we are working with a Prestige Client who are seeking an experienced Generalist HR Manager to join their leadership team, overseeing Human Resources operations across the UK and Ireland. Reporting directly to the Managing Director and with a dotted line to the Chief People and Communication Officer, this role is pivotal in implementing our HR strategy and ensuring compliance with local regulations and business objectives.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Provide advisory and support to managers and supervisors in the UK and Ireland on daily people management tasks and business project development.
  • Ensure proper implementation and follow-up of HR initiatives aligned with the group HR strategy.
  • Manage day-to-day employee relations issues and industrial relations, ensuring legal compliance.
  • Oversee all HR processes from recruitment to termination, including onboarding, performance evaluations, and managing absenteeism and terminations.
  • Assess training needs and implement and monitor training plans.
  • Manage and oversee payrolls for all employees and outsourced staffing in coordination with other HR team members and payroll providers.
  • Implement effective internal communication on HR-related topics and communication initiatives.
  • Develop and implement HR reporting systems, lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, and analyse workforce costs to optimise labor costs.
  • Promote well-being activities and recommend solutions to improve employee satisfaction, performance, and retention.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in HR, labour law, or relevant field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an HR Manager, preferably in an international, multi-site role.
  • Strong experience in a multicultural environment and handling change processes.
  • Excellent social, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting.
  • Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Comfortable with O365 tools and experience with payroll and time registration tools (e.g., ADP, Kronos).
