We are working with a rapidly growing organisation on their appointment of an HR Advisor to start as soon as possible. Reporting to the HR Manager and working as part of a small team, this is an additional crucial role to facilitate the smooth running of the HR department.

You will be supporting management with first line HR queries involving development and performance and is an excellent opportunity to be involved with wider people and culture plans as the company works towards its strategic growth ambitions. This is a site-based position and flexibility to attend other sites on occasion is required, which may involve some early starts.

Responsibilities of the HR Advisor role include:

Provide accurate and timely advise and support to managers on HR policies and employment matters including managing ER issues

Maintain up to date knowledge of employment legislation changes and provide guidance to the business

Lead or support investigations, hearings and outcome meetings

Support HR Administration during the onboarding of the HR Administrator including note taking at HR and operational meetings

Monitor and manage the shared HR inbox

Support with recruitment and onboarding

Support managers in identifying training needs and co-ordinate training requirements

Ideally you will be CIPD L5 qualified but we are looking for an experienced and competent HR generalist who is happy to roll their sleeves up and get stuck into a busy and varied role.
