Position OverviewWe are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate Town Planner / Planning Consultant to join a recently established and growing planning team. This role will allow you to develop your skills and career while working on a wide variety of planning projects. You will support the team in managing a diverse portfolio of projects within the rural, residential, and commercial sectors. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early career planner to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to senior team members on a range of planning projects, ensuring high service levels for clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of planning applications, reports, and technical documents.
  • Carry out research, site appraisals, and planning policy reviews to inform project work.
  • Contribute to client meetings and help manage ongoing project progress.
  • Assist with the coordination of planning applications across a variety of sectors, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations.
  • Help maintain positive client relationships through effective communication and delivery of quality work.

Person Specification:The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate with a degree in Town Planning or a related field, or someone early in their planning career looking to further their professional development.
