We are delighted to have been instructed by leading law firm based in Bury St Edmunds to assist them in recruiting for an experienced Paralegal to join their growing team of Private Client professionals. This is a truly fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Paralegal seeking a challenging yet rewarding position.

To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must display proven experience of working for a professional law firm as a Private Client Paralegal or Paralegal Assistant. It is imperative that you possess strong communication skills in order to develop and build strong client relationships and deliver outstanding client care. The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level (or equivalent), with a strong academic background.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with clients on behalf of the fee-earners, and effectively and efficiently dealing with any queries relevant to clients, including taking instructions from clients on behalf of the lawyers
  • Assisting with drafting legal documentation and correspondence as required
  • Taking on responsibility for the day-to-day administrative running of matters working in conjunction with the lawyers and support teams to produce invoices, letters and documents
  • Having direct contact with clients and third parties. This will include meeting them face to face, dealing with telephone calls and responding to emails and letters
  • Attending client meetings to support other lawyers in the team, to ensure, in particular, that accurate records are kept of those meetings and action points are recorded, communicated and met at all times
