A leading UK manufacturer is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineering Leader to oversee the reliability, safety, and performance of electrical and control systems at a large-scale production facility. You will act as the site's electrical authority, ensuring compliance, driving improvement initiatives, and supporting the development of engineering capability across the site.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical reliability, compliance, and improvement programmes across site assets.
  • Ensure all electrical systems, including power distribution and automation, meet statutory and safety standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership for electrical maintenance and project delivery.
  • Develop and implement electrical standards, specifications, and safe systems of work.
  • Lead fault investigations, RCA, and reliability-centred maintenance activities.
  • Support capital project design, installation, and commissioning.
  • Coach and mentor maintenance teams to build electrical competence and safety awareness.


Requirements:

  • Degree-qualified or apprentice-trained Electrical Engineer.
  • Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Strong background in electrical systems, controls, and automation within FMCG or process industries.
  • Working knowledge of EAWR, PUWER, and relevant British Standards.
  • Proven ability to lead engineering improvement and reliability initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
