I am delighted to be supporting a dynamic business seeking to recruit an Accounts Payable and Payroll Supervisor to join their growing team based in Suffolk in a key role taking responsibility for the Accounts Payable function and payroll submissions to a third-party provider.

This role is a 12-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.

The ideal candidate will be somebody with experience in AP and payroll, including experience in implementing / setting up new payroll systems. As the business is expected to continue to grow rapidly, the role will suit somebody who is comfortable with ongoing change and who enjoys improving processes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Processing all supplier invoices.

• Ensuring supplier records are kept up to date.

• Maintaining supplier contract database.

• Processing payment runs to ensure suppliers are paid on time.

• Collating monthly payroll information and liaising with payroll provider to ensure payslips are correct.

• Processing monthly payments to staff for payroll and expenses.

• Assisting the finance team with information as required at month end.

• Monitoring accounts payable inbox and dealing with queries as required.

The business is seeking a good communicator who is comfortable and confident building relationships across the business. You must also be a team player, willing to support other team members as required whilst being detailed orientated and self-reflective, taking responsibility for reviewing own work.

Accounts payable experience in a supervisory or managerial role plus Payroll administration experience are essential.
