We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Assistant to join our client on a temporary basis for 9-12 months. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining payroll records, and providing support to the payroll team. This role requires proficiency with iTrent payroll software.
Key Responsibilities:
Process payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, hours worked, and deductions.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Handle payroll queries from employees and resolve any issues promptly.
Assist with the preparation of payroll reports and documentation.
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Support the implementation of payroll-related projects and improvements.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Payroll Assistant or in a similar role.
Proficiency with iTrent payroll software is essential.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and regulations.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
