Freelance CAD Technician

We are working with a well-established and forward-thinking client who is looking to engage a skilled Freelance CAD Technician to support ongoing and upcoming projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented technician who thrives in a fast-paced, project-based environment and is confident producing accurate, high-quality CAD drawings.

Role Overview:

As a Freelance CAD Technician, you will work closely with the project team to deliver technical drawings and plans that meet design and regulatory specifications. The work may vary across sectors depending on the project pipeline, including construction and architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce 2D and/or 3D CAD drawings from design concepts and specifications
• Modify and update existing drawings as required
• Liaise with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accuracy
• Ensure all drawings comply with relevant regulations, standards, and client expectations
• Manage deadlines and deliverables independently while maintaining a high level of precision

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician in a freelance or contract capacity
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving design challenges
• Ability to manage your own workload and meet tight deadlines
• Experience in construction or architectural sectors preferred
