Offering a competitive salary in the region of £35,000 but purely depends on experience, 28 days holiday, 1 day a week hybrid working, auto enrolment pension, progression and development, and more.

They are looking for an ambitious accountant with a minimum of 3 year's experience, qualified or part qualified, and someone experienced in providing excellent client services. Senior Accountant Job Overview
  • Managing a diverse portfolio of clients, acting as the primary point of contact, consisting of sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  • Attend and lead client meetings, providing advice on financial matters and business strategy
  • Prepare statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders up to review stage
  • There is the opportunity to do some audit work within the audit team
  • Completing and review VAT returns and ensure all deadlines are met
  • Assist with the preparation and review of management accounts
  • Supervise and support junior staff, reviewing their work and assisting in their development
Senior Accountant Job Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years accountancy practice experience
  • ACA/ACCA qualified or part qualified or qualified by experience is also acceptable
  • Experience in conducting client meetings, and preparing accounts up to final review, is beneficial
  • Must be well spoken, polite, and personable. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills are required
  • Must be able to commute to Bury
  • No requirement for visa sponsorship
