DBR Group is seeking two Class 2 Drivers for a Temp to Perm position in Bury with a leading food and drink supplier to schools.
The role involves delivering food and drink across the North of England, with a typical shift starting at 5:00 AM and ending between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM.
The pay rate is £14.00 per hour for the temporary position, with a permanent salary of £26,500 per annum after 12 weeks, plus overtime at £21.00 per hour.
Candidates must have a valid Class 2 licence, CPC, and Digital Tacho, with previous warehouse experience being beneficial.
The position offers all school holidays off, equivalent to 13 weeks of annual leave, and requires physical fitness for unloading goods.

DBR Group is recruiting two Class 2 Drivers for a Temp to Perm opportunity with one of the UKs most awarded food and drink suppliers to schools. After 12 successful weeks, youll be offered a permanent contract.

The Role

Position: Class 2 Delivery Driver
Location: Based in Bury, delivering across the North of England
Start Time: From 05:00 AM
Shift Length: Typically back between 13:0015:00
Deliveries: Up to 10 per day
Duties:

Delivering food and drink to school kitchens
Breaking down pallets and hand-balling goods
Unloading and sorting orders onsite

Physical Work: Yes must be physically fit

Pay & Benefits

Temp Rate:

£14.00/hour basic
£21.00/hour overtime

Permanent Salary: £26,500 per annum (Overtime is monitored over 3 monthly periods and either paid or given back in time off!) Based on 40hrs per week.
Holiday: All school holidays off! Equivalent to 13 weeks annual Leave!
Training: 23 days product training with a senior driver

Requirements

Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence
New passes considered!
Valid CPC & Digital Tacho
Physically fit and willing to unload goods
Previous warehouse/picking experience beneficial
Positive work ethic and good customer service
Max 6 minor points (for insurance)
