We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive primary school team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a school setting, especially if you're considering a career in teaching or education.

About the Role:

As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support the learning and development of children across various age groups (4-11 years). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting individual and small groups of pupils with their learning

  • Assisting with classroom management and lesson preparation

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional well-being

  • Contributing to a safe and stimulating learning environment

  • Helping to deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences

We're Looking for Someone Who:
  • Has a degree in any subject (education-related degrees are a bonus but not essential)

  • Is enthusiastic, reliable and committed to making a positive difference

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Can work effectively as part of a team and take initiative when needed

  • Ideally has some experience working with children (paid or voluntary)
