What You’ll Be Doing

Producing detailed, accurate estimates for electrical projects—spanning full design & build, reactive maintenance, and specialist installations

Reviewing drawings, specs, and tender documents for clarity and scope

Collaborating with supply chain partners to secure reliable pricing and technical information

Identifying risks, alternates, and cost-saving value engineering options

Supporting bid submissions and join pre/post-tender client meetings when required

Working with service and project teams to ensure smooth handovers
You’ll be part of a commercial team that delivers quality bids on time, backed with technical insight and solid financial logic.
Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience estimating electrical building services—and ideally combined with design & build or service exposure

Ability to read, interpret, and cost from technical drawings and specifications

Familiarity with estimating software and confident Excel skills

Strong organisation, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines

Commercial awareness and ability to flag risks or opportunities early

Good communication and team-based approach
Relevant qualifications or certifications are welcome but not essential. What matters most is your skill and commitment.
