2 x Positions Available - 1 x Security Systems Engineer & 1 x Fire Alarm Engineer.

About The Role:

This is a full-time, on-site role located in North West England, United Kingdom, for an experienced Electronic Security Systems Engineer and/or Fire Alarm Service Engineer.

The Security candidate should have experience in installing, repairing and fault finding on various types of security systems, including Intruder Alarms, CCTV Systems and Access Control Systems. Ensuring up to date knowledge of, and compliance with, all relevant British Standards is essential.

The Fire Alarm Service Engineer will carry out various works to Fire Detection & Alarm Systems and other associated fire safety systems along with completing and submitting all relevant documentation. Ensuring up to date knowledge of, and compliance with, all relevant British Standards is essential.

Due to the nature of the work, you may be asked to work away or work outside of normal hours (8-5) to complete certain projects from time to time.

Responsibilities - Security Systems Engineer:

  • The installation and commission of new systems as well as additions to existing Intruder Alarms, Access Control Systems, CCTV.
  • To work with and under instruction from the operations and administration team members, complying with work instructions, company and health and safety policies and procedures.
  • To maintain a good working knowledge of circuits and measuring devices and an understanding and respect of electrical circuits as well as undertaking training courses and development activities where necessary.
  • To act as a Company Ambassador at all times. You must be smart in appearance, pleasant in attitude and capable of communicating diplomatically to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Maintain an accurate and high standard of Customer, Company and Personal paperwork.
  • Undertake 'On-Call’ duties as part of your Area Team.

Responsibilities - Fire Alarm Service Engineer:

  • To work with and under instruction from Service Team, complying with work instructions, company and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • To comply with all Injury Prevention policies and support new initiatives
  • To maintain a good working knowledge of circuits and measuring devices and an understanding and respect of electrical circuits as well as undertaking training courses and development activities where necessary.
  • To act as a Company Ambassador at all times. You must be smart in appearance, pleasant in attitude and capable of communicating diplomatically to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Routine servicing and reactive maintenance of various Fire Detection & Alarm Systems and other associated systems.
  • Maintain an accurate and high standard of Customer, Company and Personal paperwork.
  • To induct, manage and develop any personnel within your responsibility
  • Undertake 'On-Call’ duties as part of your Area Team.
  • To undertake any additional duties at the request of your line manager, which is deemed to be within your competency
