Specialising in Wealth Management—particularly Investments, Pensions, and complex cases like Pension & Divorce. They’re known for delivering exceptional advice and service across a broad range of financial planning needs. As an IFA Administrator, you’ll be part of a busy team working for one Adviser. The below duties are carried out by other members of the team also and work is spread across the team taking into consideration experience , workload and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Loading & maintaining client records onto CRM (Intelligent office) noting vulnerabilities etc if applicable
  • Submission of letter of authorities, chasing LOA’s and ensuring return of ALL info requested - speaking to providers - information gathering
  • Assistance in Preparing files for 1st meetings/sign up meetings/reviews
  • Updating database file with meeting information /new business submissions/withdrawals etc
  • Processing review files ensuring files are kept upto date , completing risk profilers, updating adviser to any changes, issuing periodic assessment letters
  • Processing /assisting with the processing of new business
  • Speaking to clients, providers, trustees
  • Processing requests for income /withdrawals
  • Updating and maintaining valuations
  • Assisting team with fund switch administration
  • Ensuring compliance requirements are met at all times

Essentials (Preferred but not essential):

  • Minimum Experience of 12 months in financial services industry
  • Platforms they use are Quilter , Abrdn Elevate and Abrdn wrap predominantly but not limited to
  • Strong Microsoft word and excel skills
  • GCSE Maths and English, C grade or above
  • Experience of dealing with high levels of administration
  • Fast and accurate data input skills
  • Excellent team-worker
  • Conscientious and willing to learn
