Our client is a fast-growing Mechanical Contractor that Manufacture & Install specialist products for a range of highly regulated projects, including Nuclear & Rail and are seeking a Materials Planning & Logistics Manager. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring seamless alignment between client demand, production capacity, and supply chain performance.

This role would suit a proactive and organised professional with strong leadership skills and strong planning experience within manufacturing. Ideal candidates will thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a strategic approach to problem solving, and be adept at managing teams, materials, and systems to deliver exceptional operational outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive master production schedule aligned with client requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and management of a new MRP/ERP system.
  • Oversee raw material procurement, inventory control, and logistics operations.
  • Monitor production progress against schedules and capacity plans.
  • Manage a team with 5 x direct reports.

Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Planning for busy Manufacturing environments
  • Managerial experience, leading and supporting direct reports
  • Strong MRP/ERP systems skills, enough to implement from scratch


Location - Bury
Salary - circa 45k - 50k (dependent on experience)
