  1. Bury Council are looking for Two Administrators to work within their Housing Department. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience in administrative tasks within a repairs or housing environment. The position is full-time for the next five months, with a competitive hourly rate based on experience.
Day-to-day of the role:
  • Carry out a range of administrative tasks within the repairs/housing department.
  • Manage and maintain records and databases to ensure information is organised and easily accessible.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments and external agencies to coordinate housing and repair efforts.
  • Prepare and manage correspondence, reports, and documents as needed.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, providing high-quality customer service.
  • Organise and schedule appointments and meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar administrative role, preferably within a housing or repairs context.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages including Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to come into the office as required.
  • You will need Experience of QL, and be comfortable using the system, as you will be updating the system and also doing compliant reviews.
  • This position is Hybrid, and you will need to be in the office for a minimum of 2 - 3 days a week
