Engineering Compliance Manager - (Days-Based Role)

Salary: £45,000Location: BurySchedule: Monday to Friday (Days - Early finish on Fridays)

A leading manufacturer is seeking an experienced Engineering Compliance Manager to join its team at a large, complex production site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring engineering compliance across the site, overseeing inspections, remedial works, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Written Schemes of Examination and plan statutory inspections.
  • Manage and update the engineering compliance database.
  • Obtain quotes and coordinate remedial work following inspections.
  • Oversee upgrade projects from pilot phase through to completion.
  • Ensure contractor control, review RAMS, and implement Permit to Work systems.
  • Support engineering statutory compliance (PSSR, LOLER, Legionella, etc.)
  • Manage CMMS and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Lead Management of Change processes.

Requirements for the Engineering Compliance Manager:

  • Strong understanding of engineering compliance standards and legislation.
  • Hazardous chemicals experience essential
  • Safety Critical Maintenance and Management of Change systems.
  • Proven project management capabilities.
  • Contractor supervision and site safety control.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office and communication with cross-functional teams.
