Reeson Education is seeking a passionate and committed Primary Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the BL9 area of Bury. This full-time, long-term Primary Teacher position is to start as soon as possible and will focus on teaching a vibrant Year 5 class. For the right candidate, there is potential for a permanent opportunity.

About the Primary Teacher Role:

  • The Primary Teacher will lead a Year 5 class, delivering engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the national curriculum.

  • The Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning, assessing, and creating a positive learning environment that supports both academic and personal development.

  • The Primary Teacher will collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to ensure individual needs are met.

  • The Primary Teacher will be an active contributor to the wider school community, participating in planning meetings, parent engagement, and school events.

The Ideal Primary Teacher Will:

  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and have recent experience teaching in UK primary schools.

  • Be confident in teaching upper Key Stage 2, particularly Year 5.

  • Be a Primary Teacher who is enthusiastic, well-organised, and reflective in their teaching practice.

  • Be committed to inclusive education and able to adapt lessons to suit a range of learning styles and abilities.

  • Have excellent classroom management and behaviour strategies.

Primary Teacher Requirements:

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

  • Two professional references covering the last three years.

  • The right to work in the UK.

  • A strong commitment to the role and a proactive, reliable approach.
