Long-Term Contract | Growing M&E Contractor | United Utilities Region

We are supporting a rapidly expanding M&E contractor that specialises in delivering mechanical and electrical engineering solutions across the water industry. Due to continued growth and multiple project wins, they are looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join their team on a long-term contract.



Role Overview

As a Mechanical Supervisor, you will oversee mechanical installation works across various United Utilities sites. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in line with all industry standards.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise mechanical teams delivering installation and upgrade works on water treatment and pumping station projects
  • Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and project specifications
  • Coordinate labour, materials, and daily site activities
  • Support mechanical fitters and subcontractors with technical guidance
  • Work closely with project managers, site managers, and client representatives
  • Maintain accurate site documentation, permits, and reports


Requirements

  • SSSTS - Essential
  • Strong background in the water industry or heavy industrial environments
  • Proven experience supervising mechanical installation works
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Full driving licence
