Our client is a leading supplier of children’s, ladies and men’s nightwear and daywear and swimwear.

They are currently looking for an entry level / junior Import Merchandiser to join their head office team.

The Role:

  • Responsible for merchandising orders through from initial stage to bulk production & final approval.
  • Factory contracting, checking all styling and product details are correct.
  • Retail Purchase Orders, ensuring these are correct before processing.
  • Receiving pre-production strike offs/samples/lab dips etc from oversea factories and arranging submissions/approvals with both the buyer/customer
  • Maintaining critical paths ensuring all orders are on time.
  • Managing any shipment delays with the factory and customer.

About you:

  • We are looking for someone who can work as part of a team, with a positive attitude.
  • Confident and clear communication skills, both verbal and written, with manufacturers, retailers and within the office environment.
  • Someone who is well organised and flexible, with a logical and analytical mind, and excellent administration skills
  • Someone who works well under pressure, with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
  • Microsoft Outlook, Office, Word, Excel computer skills are required.
