Are you a passionate, patient, and proactive individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a warm, inclusive, and highly supportive primary SEN school in Bury. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a committed team focused on providing outstanding education and care for pupils with a range of needs, including ASC, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and moderate to complex learning difficulties.



The Role:

  • Supporting pupils aged 4-11 with EHCPs in a classroom or 1:1 setting

  • Assisting the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities

  • Supporting emotional regulation and behaviour management strategies

  • Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing learning environment

  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and parents to support pupil progress



The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with children with SEN (in school or care settings)

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Calm, caring and resilient under pressure

  • Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities

  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, TA qualification) - desirable but not essential
