We’re hiring for a Welder/Fabricator to join a specialist engineering team at their site based in Bury.

If you’ve got experience with MIG/TIG welding and a background in metal fabrication, this could be a great opportunity to join a company that values quality, precision, and its people.

£18.00 - £20.00 per hour
Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm
Early finish on Fridays
Overtime available (paid at enhanced rate)

What will you be doing as a Welder/Fabricator?

MIG and TIG welding on stainless and mild steel from 1.5mm to 5mm
Fabrication work ranging from full builds to guillotining, press brake folding and rolling
Working on large-scale ducting systems and bespoke metalwork
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plans
Supporting the team with high-quality, precision welding and assembly tasks

What do you need?

Previous experience in MIG and TIG welding
Ability to work with stainless and mild steel
Strong fabrication skills across various processes (guillotine, folding, rolling, etc.)
Ideally previously coded in welding (desirable)
A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and within a team
