Are you looking for a rewarding role in education? Academics Education Agency is recruiting a Secondary SEMH Teaching Assistant to support students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs at a welcoming secondary school in the Bushey area.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with SEMH and SEND needs.
- Assist teachers in delivering tailored interventions and behaviour strategies.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being.
- Help students develop resilience, confidence, and social skills.
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, or in a SEND/SEMH support role (desirable).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
- Passion for supporting young people to achieve their potential.
