We are looking for a motivated and experience Operations Manager to join a market leading company within the heavy industry in the UK. You will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. The position will appeal to a strong manager looking for their next challenging role within in a secure and stable company.
Role Description
- Management covering the full production
- Planning & organising full operations
- Risk assessments and H&S inspections
- PPM scheduling & implementation
- Ensuring and driving continuous improvement across the plant
- Overseeing all permanent staff and contractors
- Focusing massively on reducing energy consumption across the plant
- Admin work, writing reports and updating records to procurement and budget control
Skills and Qualifications
- QCF Level 6 or NVQ LV 4/5 - HSE
- HSE management experience
- Heavy plant experience
- Quarrying experience
- Operations level management experience
- Crushing & screening experience
