Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our clients manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in production/engineering settings with high volume production lines. This role is crucial for ensuring production efficiency, quality control, and team performance within our manufacturing facility.
Hours
Monday 12pm-6pm
Tuesday-Friday 10am-6pm
38 hour working week
Duties
- Supervise daily operations on the production floor, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Carry out Supervisor Daily Quality Line Audits and test products to agreed schedule.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and manage hot runner cleaning tanks, complete humidity check record sheet and fill and rotate tanks.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and resolve any production issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of production metrics, reporting on performance against targets.
- Contribute to the implementation of disciplinary and grievance procedures.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a production/manufacturing environment is essential.
- Strong Electrical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively.
