About the company:
We are a family business based in Byfield, Northamptonshire that specialises in steel construction. Our work is primarily based in Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and Warwickshire. Company benefits include free onsite parking, company car and fuel allowance, company pension etc.
We are looking for someone for a multi-disciplinary role that includes steel erection and cladding.
This is a full-time role with standard working hours of 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Skills or experience required: • Be able to use power tools. • Be able to accurately measure and cut different materials • Experience in using powered access equipment (cherry picker, scissor lift etc) licences not necessary • Be capable of working at height. • Telehandler driving experience is ideal but not necessary. • Fitting structural steel, including portal frames, compound beams, and staircases. • Cladding with insulated composite panels. • Installation of flashings, coverings and trims
Although it is not necessary to have all of these skills, a willingness to learn them is essential. Rates of pay to be discussed depending on experience but starting in the range of £15-18/hour with company benefits.
