Job Description:
As a production operator, you will be required to work on a production line to manufacture and package food products, focusing on maintaining food safety and quality standards. This role plays a vital part in ensuring product consistency, safety, and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machines and equipment
- Pack products into containers, apply labels, and move packaged goods to storage areas.
- Perform quality checks on products and raw materials to ensure standards are met.
- Maintain a clean work environment and follow strict food safety, hygiene, and health and safety regulations.
- Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and quality control staff
Requirements:
- Ability to follow instructions and pay close attention to detail
- Previous food manufacturing experience.
- Comfortable working in a physically active role.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work in a factory environment with varying temperatures
