We are looking to recruit for a Warehouse Team Supervisor to support and assist in planning and overseeing all the daily and weekly activities of the warehouse team.
This role would be the ideal role for those who are ready to take the next step in their career, bringing experience and supervisory skills to a thriving warehouse environment.The role with be reporting to the Head of Warehouse Operations.
Duties
- Inspire and motivate your team to achieve their best.
- Ensure key performance indicators are met.
- Oversee the accurate and efficient picking of orders.
- Efficient Loading: Ensure all vehicles are loaded in an efficient and organised manner.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Uphold and enforce health and safety standards.
- Conduct return-to-work interviews, staff one-to-ones, and appraisals.
- Continually review operations to identify and implement improvement projects.
- Team motivation and monitoring.
- High standards of warehouse housekeeping.
Skills
- Experience of warehousing and logistics, with experience at team leader or supervisor role.
- A recognised Health & Safety qualification would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Proven experience in man management.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Enthusiastic and motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced and busy environment.
- Forklift Licence is required.
- Car driver essential
The role is on a 3 rotational shift pattern
- 3 Rotational Shift (Days 6.00am - 14.00pm, Nights 22.00pm - 6.00am and Afternoons 14.00pm - 22.00pm).
