OVERVIEW
A boutique law firm is looking for an experienced Legal secretary to join their family department supporting the solicitors handling high net worth family matters you'll support the smooth running of clients' affairs, manage confidential documentation, and coordinate with legal, financial, and professional advisers to ensure seamless execution of key tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Opening new client files, collecting information required for documents inputting details ensuring accurate data entry onto the electronic file
* Draft and format legal documents and court bundles while maintaining accurate and organises electronic filing system.
* Diary management, arranging meetings, workflows and deadlines.
* Liaise with clients, the courts, and other stakeholders ensure they are kept up to date.
* General adhoc administrative tasks, taking calls, emails, post, filing etc as well as assisting the wider team when required.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft including office, word and excel.
* Experience working with electronic filing system
* Ability to multi task
* Ability to work autonomously
* Strong typing speed
* Experience audio typing and digital dictation.
* Experience drafting documents and creating bundles.
* Ideally experience working in family law department.
