Title: DAF Plant operator
Salary: £15.67
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Working Times: Monday – Friday 4pm - midnight
Main Duties:
- Maintain, operate, and monitor the treatment facility
- Complete daily site meter readings of water tanks.
- Inspect and perform daily checks on plant performance to ensure effective operations and maintain records, including start-up, shut down and daily monitoring
- Ensure chemicals are stored safely in line with environmental policy
- Complete planned maintenance activities in the water plant during quieter periods
- Liaise with site engineering as required during breakdowns and troubleshooting
- Work in conformance to HSE regulations
- Any other duties as required by management within the competency of the post holder
About You:
- Experienced in the food manufacturing field
- Quick learner with a sense of urgency
- Capable of inputting data onto paperwork and a computer
- Able to work independently and carry out all tasks
