DAF Plant operator

Title: Plant operator
Salary: £12.54 - £15.67
Job Type: Temp to Perm
Working Times: Monday – Friday 4pm - midnight 

Main Duties:

• Maintain, operate, and monitor the treatment facility
• Complete daily site meter readings of water tanks.
• Inspect and perform daily checks on plant performance to ensure effective operations and maintain records, including start-up, shut down and daily monitoring
• Ensure chemicals are stored safely in line with environmental policy
• Complete planned maintenance activities in the water plant during quieter periods
• Liaise with site engineering as required during breakdowns and troubleshooting
• Work in conformance to HSE regulations
• Any other duties as required by management within the competency of the post holder

About You:

• Experienced in the food manufacturing field
• Quick learner with a sense of urgency
• Capable of inputting data onto paperwork and a computer
• Able to work independently and carry out all tasks
