Working 7 days across a 2-week period (average 40 hours per week)

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Officer to join a well-established and reputable manufacturing company in Caerphilly. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing who is looking to grow their career in quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality control procedures across production lines
  • Ensure compliance with both company and legal standards
  • Evaluate and train staff on quality protocols
  • Conduct daily taste panels and collect shelf-life samples
  • Review and improve existing quality processes
  • Support new and existing product development trials
  • Perform nutritional and microbiological sampling as directed
  • Communicate quality concerns to Production Team Leaders
  • Monitor online samples for specification compliance
  • Document online quality tests and complete NCR reports as needed
  • Investigate non-conformances and implement corrective actions
  • Promote hygiene standards and prevent cross-contamination
  • Liaise with laboratories on equipment calibration
  • Assist in audit preparation (BRCGS and customer visits)
