Key responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic, mechanical and electrical repairs on LCVs
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance to high industry standards
- Use computer-aided diagnostic tools (training provided if needed)
- Ensure health and safety compliance at all times
- Complete accurate job records and communicate effectively with the team
Skills and experience required
Essential
- Proven experience working as an LCV Technician or Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic fault-finding skills
- Good understanding of LCV servicing and repairs
- Committed to health and safety practices
- Willingness to learn and train on latest technologies, including electric vehicles
Desirable
Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g. IMI, City & Guilds)
Experience working in a main dealer or commercial fleet workshop
Class C (or higher) driving licence
