We're recruiting on behalf of our client for a number of experienced Welders to join their skilled team for on-going temporary projects. This role involves welding aluminium and other metals to specification, ensuring high standards of safety, accuracy, and quality are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret technical drawings to carry out welding tasks to spec
  • Perform MIG/TIG welding on aluminium and metal components
  • Inspect welded joints and surfaces to identify defects or faults
  • Set up welding equipment and monitor temperatures during operation
  • Ensure all work meets legal, safety, and company quality standards
  • Operate machinery and tools in line with safety procedures
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
  • Follow all H&S and PPE protocols, including COSHH and manual handling guidance

About You:

  • Previous experience in a welding role is essential
  • Confident in MIG/TIG welding techniques and using manual tools
  • Able to interpret technical drawings and welding specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • A team player with a good work ethic and willingness to support others
  • Good communication and basic IT skills
  • Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) is desirable
  • Full UK driving licence preferred
