As a Window Fitter you will be responsible for covering Caerphilly properties and duties will include;
- Install various types of windows, including glass, plastic, and metal frames.
- Remove old windows and prepare openings for new installations, ensuring a proper fit and seal.
- Measure window frames accurately to prepare for installation, ensuring that all dimensions meet specifications.
- After installation, apply sealants and ensure that windows are weatherproofed to prevent leaks and enhance energy efficiency.
- Window fitters are also responsible for repairing and maintaining existing windows, which includes replacing broken glass and weatherstripping.
- Must adhere to safety regulations and building codes during installation to ensure the safety and quality of work.
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure full time hours Monday to Friday. You will be working a standard 37 hour week with an immediate start available.
The hourly pay rate for this role is 16.28 Ltd (PAYE equivalent 13.97 Inclusive of holiday).
You will need;
- Experience in Window Fitting
- NVQ Level 2 or Above (Or Equivalent)
- An awareness of health and safety in the workplace
- A Full UK Driving Licence
