Hours of work:Monday to Friday either 6.30am-3pm or 7.30am-4pm
Rate of pay:12.21/hr
First Choice are currently recruiting on behalf of our customer based in Horbury, Wakefield. They are a busy production company, making wooden frame structures & roof trussesfor bespoke construction projects throughout the UK.
We are currently looking for a Production Operative to assist with working on the automated bench saws, preparing and cutting wood to the required dimensions.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and in the production sector.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Manual handling of material
- Preparing material for cutting
- Setting and operating saws
- Checking quality of material after cutting
- Stacking/storing of cut material
- General housekeeping & warehouse duties as required
