Are you passionate about supporting children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)?
Do you have experience working in a SEN setting and want to make a real difference in a child's educational journey? Academics are currently recruiting a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a KS1 pupil at a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Magor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tailored 1:1 support to a KS1 pupil with ALN.
- Assist with classroom tasks, including early literacy and numeracy activities.
- Implement individual strategies to support the child's academic and emotional development.
- Foster a positive, supportive relationship with the pupil.
- Work closely with the class teacher and parents to track progress and adapt support as needed.

What We're Looking For:
- Essential: Experience working in a SEN setting.
- Desirable: Experience supporting pupils 1:1 with ALN.
- Hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (we can help).
- Registered or willing to register with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) - we'll guide you through it.
- Able to provide two recent professional references.
